We turned mountain into about 4,000 pyeong of field to plant ginsengs last year.
If ginseng is cultivated,
bacteria unique to ginseng remain on the ground,
making it impossible to crop the ginseng continuously,
so if ginseng cultivation is finished,
rice field is cultivated to remove bacteria,
and then ginseng is cultivated again (ginseng of a paddy field).
The ginseng field shown in the photo is not a field cultivating
6-year-old ginseng but a seed ginseng field,
which is used to transplant seed ginsengs to other fields.
As shown in the photo, ginsengs are thickly planted.
Pesticide is less used by cultivating ginseng in a traditional method,
and maximum efforts are made to cultivate ginseng
in an eco-friendly method by planting native varieties.
Please drop by and take a picture of them as well.
